Home learning project Minibeasts

Maths

What do I need to do?

This term we really need to crack our times tables therefore we would like you to spend as much time as you can focussing on learning the ones that you don’t yet know.  If you already know all of your tables you will need to practise speed recall or division facts.

Today you will have taken home some maths mountain sheets to use to practise with or you may try any of the games below:

In addition, can we please remind you that you will need to look at the KIRFS for this half term.  You will find them on the KIRFS page.

English

What do I need to do?

In two weeks time (week beg 22nd May) we will take a retest of all our tricky spellings.  Everyone has a copy of the spellings they need to work on in their reading diary.  Please practise these at home.

Home Learning project

Following the amazing success of our History in your Pocket kits, we have another great home learning project for this term to compliment Walk on the Wild Side.  Please have a look at the attached document for more details.

It would be really great to see a contribution from everyone this time!

If you need any resources then please do ask.  We look forward to seeing the new projects during the first week after half term.
