Lots of great investigative learning today when we were exploring the link between area and multiplication. We used s range of resources including geoboards and numicon. Independent investigative learning at its best!

If anyone has been gripped by learning about area, I’ve got a very addictive book of Japanese shape puzzles you may want to have a look at.
Pop in and ask if you’re interested – it would be great to take home to tackle with your families or to try in school with friends.

it was really tricky but it got easy after a while
We look like we love doing maths (which is quiet true(mostly)we do like maths).
