Ferno the terrifying dragon lay asleep on the towering mounds of shiny golden treasure. In the huge stone-carved room was a small boy named Pablo. He was no ordinary boy though, he had magical powers, the power to shoot ice from his finger-tips. Edging closer to the dozing dragon, Pablo accidentally stumbled over its scaly fire-red tail. Ferno tossed and turned making a terrible screeching noise so loud Pablo almost turned and fled. But Ferno carried on sleeping for the moment….
Suddenly Ferno woke up and started breathing scorching flames in Pablo’s direction. The battle was on who will win…..?

Wow Lewis!! What I really love is how you have started one of your sentences with a fronted adverbially – Edging closer…’. It’s a really clever way of starting a sentence to make it more interesting.
    A great effort!
    Well done!
